What Causes Vaginal Itching And Burning Urination?

Hello, I am a 47 year old woman. I am not sexually active. I do have diabetes type 2. I have noticed itchy sensation in my vaginal area. Also, burning while urinating. I was thinking yeast infection. My pcp called in fluconazole 100 mg tablets. I took them as directed and I am still having symptoms. Please help

Hi, I think you should get yourself evaluated by a gynecologist. Also do a urine routine and microscopy and a culture. Drink around 3 to 4 litres of water per day and take some urine alkaliser like syrup alkasol. You may need some antibiotics and antifungal drugs.
