What Causes Vaginal Itching And Redness After Intercourse?

i have chronic vaginal itching and redness the last time i went to the gyno she said it was a bacterial infection and prescribed flagyl it seemed to clear it up but as soon as i had sex with my boyfriend it came back i got so scared i got an hiv test and it was negative please help
