What Causes Vaginal Itching Despite Using Betadine?

My vagina is itching Doc,i wash it with betadine though the effect is only temporary,itchiness comes back,i even put on pantyliner with ion on it saying on its pack that itchiness will gone though i only experience a cooling sensation,but then i remebered my grandma saying if somethings itching on you put a vicks on it,i decided to put on it and i experience relief yet still itching when the cooling effect is gone,is it bad to my vagina Doc,give me some advice pls,thanks!!!!

Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would suggest that if your inside of Vagina is itching so much, there must a pathology like yeast infection which must be causing it. So I request you not to do counter measures on your own like Vicks or Ionized panty liner because they may harm the sensitive and delicate tissue inside your vagina.

So, I Suggest that you should use a vaginal Pessary like Canesten Vaginal pessary for 7-8 days and if the itching does not stop after 15-20 days go visit a Obgy doc for internal examination.
