It is used for the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections of female reproductive organs. Some of them could experience local reaction such as burning sensation or redness when this pessary is used. However, it would subside on its own gradually with symptomatic treatment. Since the medication acts locally, it would not cause any harm to the pregnancy and developing fetus. Kindly take care to maintain good personal hygiene.
