What Causes Vaginal Itching, Pink Discharge And Absence Of Period?
Hello, I am very worried, a couple of days ago I started having vaginal itch and then I had pink discharge and the next day I had brown discharge, I didn t had my period since December last year. I was told to have thyroid and endometriosis problem, now recently had sex with my partner and I bleed a lot and I am very worried about all this. What can all this be? Thank you.
Looking at your description it seems to be a treatable condition so you need not to worry. I would advise you for a battery of investigation like blood for CBC, ESR, liver function test, blood sugar, urine culture and vaginal swab culture if need be. You may require a course of antibiotics under medical supervision.
In my opinion you should book an appointment with a gynecogist for above mentioned investigation, physical examination and prescription of antibiotics. Meanwhile maintain good hygiene and have lots of fluids and use condom during sex.
Hot water bath will definitely help you by relieving itch and discomfort. You can take anti allergic drug like Fexofenadine or Levocetirizine for symptomatic relief from itching.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to ask for follow up question I will gladly answer you.
Best wishes, Dr. B R Hudda
