What Causes Vaginal Itching Post Menses?

Hello Ive been experiencing some discomfort in my lower regions which i got just after having my period. A mild itching and burning,with a thick, white discharge.I treated myself with some thush cream as ive had it before but it didnt seem to help. After having sex with my boyfriend i feel very numb and sore and feel a bit dry, and find just small cuts on my skin.
