What Causes Vaginal Itching While On Entocort EC?

I STARTED BESSONIDE EC 3 MG 4/25 AND I Hve got a flm in my mouth and a white coating on my tounge. along with vaginal itching. i also started the drug procto foam on 4/25. i feel nauseated and belch when just drinking water. i think my lips on my mouth feel funny almost tingley. do i need to discontinue these meds? i have chrons .

Hi,

I think you are suffering side effects of Budesonide. The mouth thrush and vaginal thrush are common in prolonged Budesonide usage.
You should take systemic oral anti-fungal treatment. Also talk to your doctor to change treatment plan. You may stop Budesonide and start Mesalamine.
