What Causes Vaginal Itching With Discharge?

About 2 weeks ago I got a really bad itch on the outside of my vagina. It was on the lower side right outside. It went away for about 4 days then came back last night. I have noticed increased discharge and was thinking it could possibly be a yeast infection. I also used nair down there, but don t think I got it inside the vaginal canal.
