What Causes Vaginal Itching?

I am so nervous about this. I had my first sexual experience 62 days ago. He used his hand down there and I was so stupid and didn t ask him about his sexual history. For some reason I keep obsessing over herpes even though I have had no outbreaks or any symotoms of it. I did have itching down there 2 weeks after but i was also growing hair back. I was wondering if you could get herpes that way? Also when he touched me it stung a little, which I know it was because it was my first time. But now when I use my vibrator it stings a little, and there is a burning feeling afterwards (very little). Is that something I should get checked out

Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
Herpes has an incubation period of 1 day to 3 weeks. If the case, you would have had symptoms already. Also, burning feeling after using your vibrator may be due to viginal injuries. It is possible after sex or masturbation and may not necessarily be due to an infection. If of infectious origin, even without using your vibrator, feeling will be present.I will suggest you avoid using your vibrator for some days and observe. If symptoms persist, you see the Doctor for STI work-ups like vaginal swap, chlamydia test, syphilis test.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Wish you good health
