What Causes Vaginal Itching?

ZPlease Dr ..last week my vulva was itching and discharge was abnormal..I began using cotrim vaginal gel but whenever I pushed my finger deeper.I noticed some thing hard like a muscle..inside its now a week and am getting scared..what cud it be please ..help me out

$ Plenty of liquids orally
$ Keep genitals clean with antiseptic liquids
$ Cetrizine ( 10 ) mg will take care of itching
$ Need of systemic antibiotics and anti fungal medicines require
in person evaluation .
$ Keep utmost care in using tempons
