Hi, my vagina has been itchy for the past week, not a bad itchy but just constant and annoying. It is not swollen, red, painful and no discharge. No problems urinating and during intercourse it isn t too bad, slightly uncomfortable but I find I don t stay as wet as usual
Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any vaginal infection. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
Hello and welcome to HCM. Thanks for putting up your query. Itchy vagina is usually due to candidiasis infection. If I were your treating doctor,I would recommend, -Clotrimazole vaginal suppository tab for 3-5 days. -Maintain genital hygiene with soap and water. -Avoid using any commercial or scented creams or products for vaginal application. -Wear clean, cotton inner garments -Treatment of sexual partner if same or any other genital complaints present.(in case of sexual activity) -Adequate intake of water. Hope this information helps. Thanks and regards.
