What Causes Vaginal Itching?

please tell me why my vagina is still acting. i had some swabs done onjune 21st. i found out 10 day later i had chlaymidia. doctor gave me treatment. (during those ten days ; i took over the counter meds for bv: probaclac) i went on vacation for whole month of july ; city the entire time; i went back to dr august 1, he say i also test positive for gnoherrea. ( i have slight burning on urination). he gave me injection for this 4 days ago/ still itchy. started taken monistat 3/ still itchy. the itchiness has never been inside vagina (weird ) only around the opening. please help. dr say i must wait 21 days to retest.

I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
These symptoms and signs are suggestive of STD especially if there is associated pain, fever, urethral discharge and recent sexual intercourse. So this is the first thing to rule out by doing STD testing. Second, it may be sign of uroinfection or urinary stones and some other genital infection but this is less common. In every case, antibiotic therapy may be required so test should be done as soon as possible so that appropriate treatment can be started. Till that try to drink plenty of fluids, avoid sexual intercourse and rest.
