What Causes Vaginal Itching?

My vagina has been itching for the past week or two. I haven't had sex at all in my life yet. There is no discharge, no odor, no redness, or no swelling. I usually don't scrub it with soap or body wash. Is it becasue pf hair growing down there. I never really shaved down there before.
