Hi I m currently 8 weeks post partum from my second child (natural/vaginal for both of the births) my first birth my OB made a cut in the perineal area and the second birth was a small 1st degree tear. Today I had some discharge when wiping after urinating, more than usual and I ve been feeling pain in the vaginal opening since after the birth. I have not engaged in any sexual activities as of yet due to the discomfort I still feel. Tonight after urinating again I felt discomfort feeling and I used coconut oil to apply to the stitches and all over just incase it tore/just to heal the stitches quicker yet I noticed it began to burn more and when I urinated again it burned so much I had to stop the flow. I took a picture and noticed on the inside of my labia heading towards the vaginal opening the skin appears bright pink different than the color on my upper labia and it seems raw, it almost looks like it s burned skin what can this possibly be? Incase I cannot see my OB tomorrow because it s hard to get an appointment when needed I m asking now for some opinions. Thank you in advance!
