What Causes Vaginal Pain, Fever And Difficulty In Walking During Pregnancy?

I am 20 weeks pregnant and started feeling some vaginal pain with fever in the 19th week.I found difficulty in walking ang getting up from bed especially when I turn the sides on bed.I consulted my gynaecologist...she gave me injection and medicines. I found relief but mild pain is still there. Is it a matter of concern and what difficulties can I face? Will everything be safe?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I recommend performing a vaginal discharge bacterial culture in order to exclude a possible infection, coupled with urine bacterial culture. If you have still problems with contractions, consulting with your gynecologist is necessary. In such case a bed rest may be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
