What Causes Vaginal Pain With A Thick Tissue Discharge?

i have recently had in implant put in to my arm and i have started my period a few days ago, however this afternoon i felt a sharp pain in my vagina a few minutes later as i was in the toilet i saw a big and thick skin like tissue, it was cloudy but see through and did not look like discharge at all, what could it be?
