What Causes Vaginal Spotting After A Depo Provera Shot?

Hi doctor, I had a shot of depo provers in Jan , my period came late in February and lasted longer , same with march n April but since may I have been having spotting and no period till date and did a pregnancy test am not pregnant . please will I do to see my period again thanks

Hi I think it can be an after effect of depo shot. Sometimes ovulation gets suppressed for few months after the shot. So, if pregnancy test is negative, you can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. It will become normal with time. Hope it helps.
