What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Having Unprotected Sex?

hi...my name is angel and i had unprotected sex on the 25th of august and then started spotting on the 30th then it got heavier on the 1st and slowed down today...which is way too early for my period to have came...could this be my last period which means is my body getting ready for pregnancy??
