What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Taking Levonelle?

I took levonelle five weeks ago. I had a short bleed a week after for a few days. Now I have been having spotting and light bleeding for the last 2 weeks from around when my period was due. Is this still side effects? And is this likely to be my period?

Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. It can be implantation bleeding also. If test is negative, it can be due to some vaginal infection. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist.. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Levonelle can also be one of the reason. But you have to rule out other causes.
