What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Taking Postinor-2?
Hi. I made out with my boyfriend and just to be double sure of no pregnancy, i took postinor 2 the next day. I experienced bleeding after 5 days. It continued a little lighter from my usual period for about 6 days then stopped only to begin again. I spotted for a few days now (that s aside the 6 days of bleeding caused by the drug). Should I be worried? Is this normal? The color of blood is more like brown, not red.

Understand your concern
Do not worry bleeding after postnor 2 is normal due to progesterone withdrawal as pill contain high progesterone level. It will occur 3-5 days after taking pill and remain for 4-6 days, very light and just like spotting, Brown color due to stake blood, means endometrium remain in the uterus for sometime and then it will come out.
So it is due to hormonal imbalance that caused by postinor-2.
So just be relax, it is normal.
Period may be delayed by 4-5 days. But if it will delay by 10-12 days then go for pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy as always some failure rate in emergency contraceptive pill (around 5 percent, if taken with in 24 hour after sex)
