What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Taking Sofia Pills?

Good am ,may i ask what is the possible cause of my spottings,ive been first take sofia pills last feb.28 ,first day of my peruod usually my period last for 7 days ,it should be march 6,but instead of no period at all i experiencing spotting,until now,on the 16 of.march i.came back to ob and said stop using the pills ,they change it to norifam ,my first inject was last march 16,the day i.consult to them they suggest to chnge to norifam at inject on the same day to prevent vacant day..but still i experiencing spotting,,what should the best way i do.

Hello,

By your history and description, possibility of hormonal imbalance is more likely.So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination, ultrasound examination of uterus, ovaries and detailed hormone levels.

You may need specific hormone pills to regulate hormones.
You may need antibiotics if ultrasound is showing infection.
Once your hormones are normalize and infection is controlled, you will have normal menstrual cycle.Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
