What Causes Vaginal Spotting And Abdominal Cramps?

I just had thrush for the last 10 days and was treated with creams and a pessary. My period is due tomorrow, I've had slight spotting and was very slightly crampy at the beginning of the week. I had sex 3 weeks ago but was pretty careful, could I be pregnant?
