General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would recommend you to have a pregnancy test first to rule out pregnancy. If the test is negative and your bleeding is very mild and right in the middle between the two periods then there is nothing to worry. Sometimes during the time of ovulation there is mild spotting and no further check is needed.

If the bleeding is more than just spotting and repeats every month you will need to talk again to your doctor and have another check.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
