What Causes Vaginal Spotting During Unprotected Intercourse?

I have had a bit of spot bleeding very close to my last period after having unprotected sex with my husband. I have done pregnancy tests but they are both negative. My head is also over heating and I m getting very irritable and anxious. I m due now for my next period after the sporting and have symptoms but nothing else. Can you help... I am 41.

Hi welcome to health care magic...

Your period is delayed after having unprotected intercourse along with spotting of blood per vagina....

So pregnancy has to be ruled out...
Usually urinary card test will be positive after seven to eight dayssoft delayed period.....
If it comes positive usg needs to be done....

Other causes for delayed period also has to be ruled out like....
-diabetics (random blood sugar estimation)
-Hormonal imbalance
-PCOS like ovarian problem...
-Thyroid profile if needed to rule put thyroid problem...
-obesity and excess exercise also can be the cause
