What Causes Vaginal Spotting While On Althea Pills?

Hi doc i got cyst in my doctor he give me althea in since i start althea i spotting in my althea is finish in now i got period .in the other day firsday my period have come out solid blood little bit big..in now third day of my period i need to go back to my doctor!cause she told me last time wen my period thirday i go back to her in she want i do ultrasound again

Althea pills are hormonal pills & the spotting is a side-effect of its hormonal content. It is also known to cause irregular bleeding. Still, it is good to have an intermittent check up to avoid certain complications.
