What Causes Vaginal Spotting While On Nexplanon?

I have been on Nexaplanon since January. In February I had a two week long period with no abnormal odor. After that I had spotting until March when I had another two week long period but this time it had a nasty odor. This month in April when my period is supposed to come on I haven t gotten one but I have a lot of discharge and the nasty odor is present.

Hi, I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. You can be having some vaginal infection. Get a pelvic examination done. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. You can have breakthrough bleeding while using implants, but better to rule it out. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
