What Causes Vaginal Spotting While On Norethisterone?

I bought a medicine called norethisterone 2 weeks ago in order to delay my periods. They were supposed to start the 24th of may and i had to start taking the pills 3 days before my due date. So I started taking them yesterday and I m kinda spotting (sometimes) so I was wondering if I d have my periods or is it normal to bleed while using norethisterone

Hi I think it can happen sometimes that the periods come earlier than the expected date. You can increase the dose of progesterone in order to stop the spotting and continue in low dose till you don't want periods. Hope it helps. Consult a gynecologist for proper prescription.
