What Causes Vaginal Spotting With No Regular Period?

i had a question about birth control.....ive been taking my pills everyday but for a week i took them a few hours late(no more than 3 hours). i had unprotected sez with with my husband. i was suppose to start my period 3 days ago but i havent yet. all i me getting is a spotting type

. does this mean im pregnant?
