What Causes Vaginal Spotting?

Hello I m from South Indian girl of 24 years old. I m married and I have a 1 year boy..this time I have a period issue. I got a bleeding of one spot on 25th day from my last mensus so I thought that was a period but after that I didn t get any bleeding till 3rd day.. I can t understand Please help me what is this And what can I do??

Thanks for posting on HCM
Spotting may be caused by the following gynecological conditions:
-Pregnancy
-Hormonal imbalances/contraception
-Infections(STI or PID)
-Post sex spotting
-Pelvic masses less likely
Since no other symptoms, i will suggest you take a pregnancy test and observe.If the test comes positive, then no need to be worried.If negative, the cause will have to be investigated if it happens again.In the meantime, watch for other gynecological symptoms like lower abdominal pain and funny vaginal discharges.If any of these, you see a Gynecologist for evaluation and an STI work-up.
