What Causes Vaginal Swelling Along With Itching And Pain?

I have a sweeling on my vagina skin together with the feeling of itchiness and pain last night i put povidone iodine then after an hour i wash it i use lactacyd feminine wash after that i apply it with cream name hydrocortisone leaving it whole night. Then i wake up this morning still not better.i cant walk proper because of the swelling on it what should i do to cure this or what is the best relief or solution on my problem hope i got immediately response for the best way to do to dissapear this uncomfortable feeling.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Vaginal swelling with itching and pain indicates that you have a mixed bacterial and fungal infection of vagina.
Continue to wash your vagina with mild antiseptic solution. Please discontinue use of cream.
You need to take a course of tablet metronidazole and apply butoconazole locally as cream or pessary.
Keep the area under good hygiene. Wear loose undergarments till you feel better. Abstain from all sexual activities till your symptoms subsides completely.
