What Causes Vaginal Swelling During Pregnancy?

Hi, i am 30 weeks pregnant and i have a very swollen vagina, it is very uncomftable when sitting or standing and i get very heavy feeling when i sit to go to the toilet, the vein seems to be quite large. at present i am suffering with a varicose vein in my leg that has had me resting and off work. could this be due to my vein in my leg or somthing else. kidn regards

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Engorgement of veins in the vagina and rectum is common in pregnancy due to compression of the veins by the uterus.
It usually resolves after pregnancy.
There is no treatment done for it during pregnancy.
