What Causes Variations In PSA Test Results Post Radiation Treatment?
Hi I completed my radiation treatment in June-10. My PSA level was .5 in August-15. Just had a PSA and it was 1.3. I realize that is a big jump. How concerned should I be ? I read something that said a 2.0 jump is what doctors are really concerned about. Thanks
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, I actually advise to all my patients those are suffering from malignancy and gone through radiation therapy, that if no symptoms are there then it is nothing to worry, but follow up is must, and let the oncologist performs the test, if anything ever go wrong then you would be inform accordingly and will be taken care, so no need to worry about this, hope this information helps.
