What Causes Vertigo And An Altered Sense Of Smell?
Was in emergency all day yesterday. Very bad Vertigo. But before this onset I was getting a taste in my mouth like if I took a medicine tablet and let it melt in my mouth. If I eat anything then I have that taste. It is like it is coming from the back of the roof of my mouth.i had a lot of blood work done and liver, kidneys, ekg, enzymes, all was fine. I do have a bad back at the top of my neck to about the 3rd or 4th vertebrate I feel like I have a quivering sensation. If I had a blown vertebrate could thus also cause a bad taste in my mouth?

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
We have to neurological causes as they can present with similar symptoms.
An MRI scan is required for further assessment.
