What Causes Vertigo And Tinnitus?

What can cause brief episodes of vertigo with ear ringing and fullness in the ear. I have been to my dr. And told I have retracted ear drug s and fluid behind my ear drums. I have been on Flonase and Claritin. The episodes of vertigo are still occurring. Could this be Ménière s disease?

Hi,

Vertigo and tinnitus can happen in diseases of inner ear due to irritation of balancing mechanism lodged in the inner ear.

You can take drugs like Betahistine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult an ENT physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
