What Causes Vertigo At Night While Suffering From Tachycardia?

I am 82 yrs old/female - currently taking metoprolol; losartan, amlodipine & very low levothyroxine. Amlodipine has helped to control up & down blood pressure. I have recently been diagnosed with tachycardia. after wearing a heart monitor for a week. I have had several episodes of vertigo when I get up at night. Do I have to adjust the dosages of the drugs I take. I was feeling pretty good - until I took an additional metoprolol at nite (2 25 mg pills) according to my Dr - to help control a more rapid heartbeat at night. I am very active - do a lot of local driving, etc.
