What Causes Vertigo, Fluctuating BP With Nausea?

I have taking Benazepril 40 mg & Amolodipine 5 mg for 2 years. In Jan. 2015 my insurance would no longer pay for the combined capsule. I was prescribed two separate tablets, same milligrams. I have been sick ever since; vertigo, fluctuating BP, rapid heartbeat, nausea, and lose of appetite. No one can find anything wrong with me; I ve been to my regular doctor, an ET, and a heart doc. I have been prescribed Nexium and meclizine. Could there be something in the BP tablets causing all of this? I am too sick to work most days, but continue trying. Where to turn?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think this is related to separate medications. Even though they are separated they are the same medications.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
