What Causes Very Light Periods With Abdominal Cramps While On Contraceptive Pills?

Hi. I m a little concerned about my last period. It was very light and I was barely on for to days. I started Friday afternoon and finished Sunday morning. As well as that a day after I finished I was had cramps. As I m on the pill my regular periods last 4-5 and it s normally a steady flow. Is there anything to worry about? Thank you

HI,
I have read your query & understand your concern.
- Some type of oral pills do have side effect of spotting/ cramps.It tends to be self controlled within few months. If it doesn't & complaint goes on, you should consult your gynecologist ti rule out other causes of such problem.
-When oral contraceptives are taken regularly, at the same time of day,without any break-- they are 100% effective--nothing to worry about,one should be confident about it.
