What Causes Vibration In The Ear?

I am looking for info on a vibrating ear w/little pain. Just for the record, this has begun AFTER I started some dental work. Possibly related? Now, the vibrating in my ear has my ear very sensitive to noise which is horrible. Does an ENT fix this??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to tinnitus.
Some suggestions that I can give are:
-Avoid possible irritants. Reduce your exposure to things that may make your tinnitus worse.
-Cover up the noise. In a quiet setting, a fan, soft music or low-volume radio static may help mask the noise from tinnitus.
-Manage stress.
-Reduce your alcohol consumption.
If the symptoms continue, you should see an ENT specialist.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
