What Causes Visibility Of Blue Veins In Hands With Pain?

Thank you. I am a perimenapausal woman nearly 52 with hot flashes then cold chills for the last month. Last night I saw some very dark blue veins come up near the surface of the skin on both palms and along the fingers. There is some dull pain in hand and near wrists. I have no idea what it was. They looked like ink lines so dark. A couple of months ago when the hot flashes began the large pale blue veins in my lower arms began to swell some, or I just noticed they'd never been prominent in my top sides of hands or arms before. I was two months into a physical labor job with alot of movement, have not altered my weight. Now with this new scarey dark blue small veins and a new gruk feeling in my gut, I am concerned about circulation and heart, possibly spleen? The only other thing is that I have been very stressed for at least 6 months, and I had just taken some herbs then an aleve for impending cramps from endometriosis. It felt like I was poisoned, the gruk feeling. Thank you for any possible response.

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM .
Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.

My opinion-
In the given situation-You seem to suffer from-TOS-V with N with accompanied premenopausal obesity.
Check out for hypothyroidism by blood thyroid levels.
CT/Neck X-ray-to rule out Extra Rib or other causes would fix diagnosis.
Treatment would need Consults with Neuro-/ or chest Surgeon to decompress Axillary/Subclavian Veins by appropriate surgical treatment would resolve this visibilty in hand veins.Accompanied hormonal imbalance with fluid retentions along with endometriosis, would need Gynec Consults to take care of theses health issues, if need be.

Further suggestions in this regard would need ore information /investigations after getting more details from You.
