What Causes Vision Loss Along With Headache And Fatigue?

Hi my daughter has been experiencing vision loss for a year. Her best corrected vision has always been 20/25 and last September it started to change and now best corrected close up is 20/200-20/800 fluctuating, she also complains of headaches 24/7 at varying degrees of pain. She is tired all the time, now about 4 weeks ago she had bronchitis and then back pain with lower body weakness. This has progressed to now she is on homebound status for school. We have had MRI s, MRA s, CT scan, Xrays, Various blood work done, and EMG. Everything keeps coming back negative....what else can we do? She continues to be weak and have pain with continued loss of vision.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
