What Causes Vision Of Flash Light In My Left Eye?

Yes, thank you Dr. Grief. Last night in my left eye I noticed that when I looked left to right there seemed to be a "flash," as if a small flash of lightning occurred. I have never experienced that before. Any ideas as to the cause? Thank you.

The cause can be retinal tear detachment or hole.So get your fundus examined by eye doctor. He can do coplete eye examination. Now proper advise can be given to you.
