What Causes Vivid Dreams While Suffering From Schizophrenia?

hi, ok so for the last week I have been feeling like I m living in a dream. I am aware of my surroundings, and do know I m awake but everything just doesn t feel real. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia but I have been not able to see a doctor to prescribe me my normal meds, due to insurance issues. I have been off of medicine for a little over a month now, the first couple off weeks I had outbreaks of hives all over my body, that has gotten better but I still get them on occasion. I m not experiencing any of my normal symptoms like voices no one else hears, or any negative thoughts, but physically I feel like I m in a very vivid dream. what should I do?

I went through your details. Schizophrenia symptoms may not present itself every now and then. You should also understand many symptoms would come new and the older one repeat. Schizophrenic people develop a sense of obsession and thereby being always obsessive. Feeling as if within a vivid dream is one of the secondary symptom of schizophrenia. As you are already diagnosed as schizophrenic, you should get yourself treated for it. From the given symptoms I think, this just normal schizophrenia. Psychotherapy, physical exercises, meditation etc will also help you to manage your schizophrenia.
