What Causes Vomiting, Abdominal Pain And Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Misoprestol Tablets?

I was undergoing medical abortion. I took my first tablet mifepristone on Tuesday(4th march 2014) at 4.15pm. Later that night i was advised to take 4 azithromycin, which i took at 11.40 pm. I started feeling uneasy and finally vomited at 1.40 am.
Next day at 10.30 pm I took phenergan. Had a bit of rice and curd for dinner. And at 11.10 pm I took the second dose of abortion - Misoprostol 4 tablets in the cheek. I had kept it for 40 mins, but i vomited before I swallowed them completely. Started getting cramps, bad abdomen pain, started bleeding with clots, felt dizzy, hot blushes, diarrhea all at once. Bleeding lasted for about 5 hours. Then I fell asleep. Today I do not have much bleeding.
I am now worried if there are any chances of incomplete abortion or infection later. Please advice

Understand your concern
Vomiting occur due to side effects of azithomycin mostly, Phenrgan that you taken reduce the vomiting.

Abdominal pain (due to uterine contraction)and vaginal bleeding occur due to started abortion process.
Dizziness is due to blood loss and tiredness. Diarhhea again side effects of misoprostol. All these symptoms and bleeding gradually decrease in severity and will goes in 5-6 days as abortion process completes.
Chance of incomplete abortion is less as you heavily bleeds. But exact confirmation should be done by USG after 14 days. Infections can be confirmed by swab test if foul vaginal discharge occurs.
But if bleeding and all other symptoms will not disappear after 7 days, immediately consult the gynecologist.
Take rest for 48-36 hour, meftal spas, healthy diet with iron supplements, maintain pelvic hygiene and check for foul smelling vaginal discharge to prevent infections.
