What Causes Vomiting After Eating Despite Having Hiatal Hernia?

I have a hiatal hernia and it has been causing problems. I will sometimes throw up after eating. It is sometiimes sore right under the breast bone and it is hot to the touch. I was treated for a bacterial infection in January because the hernia was inflamed according to my doctor. I am so swollen and have gained weight. How do I get it back under control? I have eliminated several food items and have cut portions as well. My doctor does have me on stomach medicines.

I really appreciate your concern, if the condition is not being comes under the controlled with medicines then it may needs the surgery it is better to have opinion from gastro-intestinal surgeon, it can not be pulled the hiatal condition too long with symptoms hope this information helps.
