What Causes Vomiting After Taking Flexeril And Naprosyn For Shoulder Pain?

Thank you but I think I have found the answer to my question. I was in terrible pain in my left shoulder. the doctor prescribed Narprosyn (500 mg and Flexeril. After taking this combination at hs I began throwing up and a stingy discomfort in my mouth. for three nights, so I have stopped taking both. Because I m hypertensive, etc. I am no longer in pain and hope that it last. I had taken both meds for a week and two days. I hope that I will remain pain free. I am 77 years young, very active, good look in and want to remain the same. Thanks.

Hello,

You may be developed gastric irritation due to Naprosyn lead to vomiting. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

Take alternate medication like tramadol or paracetamol for pain. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
