What Causes Vomiting Along With Headache And Sore Neck?

My 20 year old daughter is vomiting, stiff sore neck, severe headache. She was diagnosed last week, Thursday, with viral meningitis, although they did no definitive test. This afternoon she started vomiting and complaining of her neck hurting and headache.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Fever, vomiting and stiff neck is sign of meningitis

For its further work up kerning sign is useful

In meningitis chin of face usually not touch to chest easily that is sign of neck stiffness

For vomiting domperidone tablet given

To prevent secondary bacterial infection antibiotic course needed

Hydration has to be maintained..

If needed CSF examination done to confirm type of meningitis and to choose medication

Take care

Consult physician or neurophysician for examination
