What Causes Vomiting And Breathing Difficulty After Colonoscopy?
I had colonoscopy and 2polyps removed from the splenic flexure. I am now in the hospital because I had a bleed around my spleen. Vomiting, pain, and difficulty breathing upon waking up. Also had a blood pressure drop. Is it possible to have a bleed on CT but no perforation of the colon? I m worried that they can t see the hole in my colon. I am here in hospital another 24 hours of a 48 hour observation. Is this normal?
Yes you can have a bleeding without any holes and if there was one a CT would show unless until the bleed is very very massive in which case the patient usually has severe symptoms and mostly is in shock. so don't worry continue the treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
