What Causes Vomiting And Diarrhea While Suffering From Diabetes?
Hello, my husband has been periodically waking up during the night with vomiting and diarreha that last for awhile. He does have type 2 diabeties. Wondering if his diet has anything to do with this. Last night he ate chicken, mashed potatoes and string beans. Then he had a small piece of chocolate cake withe ice cream. Now today he feels very tired and week.

Please check for any diabetes drug your husband is taking is a reason for the vomitting, lose motion or not. You can discuss with doctor who prescribed him medication.
Also eating mashed potato, cake and icecream must have increased blood sugar leading to feeling of tiredness.
As it is off late GI infection should be ruled out by consulting a physician who can prescribe appropriate tests and meds
