What Causes Vomiting And Dizziness After Taking Pristiq?

I ve been taking 50 mg pristiq recently increased to 100. Took the first tonight and got wicked side effects vomiting and dizziness. The 50 mg wore off too quick so I m thinking it best to revert back to my Effexor. What dosage is slightly higher than the equivalent to 50 mg pristique or would you recommend?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should increase pristiq dosage gradually to 75 mg in order to have less side effects. Continue this dosage for at least two weeks before going to 100mg.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
