What Causes Vomiting And Retching On Movement Of Head?

My daughter was (25) could not hear out of her ear . No pain . She went to a Walgreen clinic where they irrigated her ear removing a blockage of ear wax. She can now hear again but she has been throwing up and retching each time she moves her head to a different side . What is this and should she go to ER ? Please advise

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The ear plays a major role with balance.

Ear syringing can be associated with loss of balance , nausea and vomiting as complications.

This should resolve in time but till then she can consider using benadryl or dramamine to help her.
One of these would help to relieve the symptoms that she is experiencing.

I hope this helps
